The Code 11.59 collection was launched in 2019 with 13 models and 3 new movements. The then-new collection included time and date, chronograph, minute repeater Supersonnerie, tourbillon and perpetual calendar models. Five years later, Audemars Piguet continues to expand the Code 11.59 collection with new iterations.
Reference 11.59 Automatic 41mm The 2024 AP collection adds two new rose gold Code 11.59 Automatic 41mm models, one with a “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” dark blue dial and the other with a dark green dial. Both versions come with a textured rubber strap that matches their respective dials. These models are powered by Caliber 4302, an automatic movement with a 70-hour power reserve.
Code 11.59 Automatic Chronograph 41mm AP has introduced three new versions of the Code 11.59 Automatic Chronograph 41mm, available in green, blue and black. The green and blue versions feature a full rose gold case, while the black version features a black ceramic and rose gold case. All three Code 11.59 Automatic Chronograph 41mm watches come with a textured rubber strap in a color that matches the embossed dial. The Caliber 4401 automatic movement provides the chronograph with a 70-hour power reserve.
Code 11.59 Automatic Flying Tourbillon Chronograph Grey Shades Audemars Piguet has introduced a new version of the Code 11.59 Automatic Flying Tourbillon Chronograph, named “Shades of Grey”. The watch features a gradient grey dial with dark edges and light centre, a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock and chronograph subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock, creating a clean and balanced layout.
The 41mm case is paired with an 18k white gold bezel and a black ceramic middle case, available in a variety of finishes including satin-brushed, polished and sandblasted textures. Inside, the in-house movement powers the 2952 movement, which features a flying tourbillon, column-wheel chronograph and 65-hour power reserve.
Code 11.59 Automatic 38mm The smaller Code 11.59 Automatic 38mm collection also sees some new colourways, both in rose gold with embossed dials. One features a light blue dial and light blue alligator strap, while the other has a dark blue “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” dial and a matching dark blue alligator strap. These smaller versions feature the Caliber 5900 movement and a 50-hour power reserve.
Code 11.59 Diamond-Set Automatic 38mm AP adds a pair of gem-set Code 11.59 watches to its lineup for 2024, both in 38mm cases and available in 18k white or rose gold. The dials of these two watches are set with 533 diamonds and colored sapphires, creating a bold jewelry version of the AP Code 11.59.
Driving the three repeating hands on the gem-paved dial is the Caliber 5909 automatic movement, visible through the exhibition caseback, which offers a 60-hour power reserve.
Other new releases from Audemars Piguet in 2024 In addition to the new Royal Oak, Royal Oak Offshore, Royal Oak Concept, and Code 11.59 watches, Audemars Piguet also released some cutting-edge materials and a vintage revival watch.
Chroma Ceramic and Chroma Gold Among all the new watches released by Audemars Piguet in 2024, the watchmaker also announced some innovative materials. For example, in March, Audemars Piguet launched Chroma Ceramic, a multi-color camouflage pattern created using the latest spark plasma sintering (SPS) technology.
A few months later, Chroma Gold was added to AP's list of innovative materials, combining various shades of gold into a single pattern.
With the release of these cutting-edge materials, it was only a matter of time before AP added watches made with Chroma Ceramic and Chroma Gold to its collection.
[RE]Master02 Describing it as a "tribute to Brutalism," the unconventional [RE]Master02 watch released in 2024 is inspired by the 1960 5159BA model, of which only seven were produced. As the number 2 in the name suggests, this is the second reinterpretation of a vintage Audemars Piguet watch to join the brand’s modern catalog; the first being the 2020 [RE]Master01, which was based on a 1943 chronograph.
The [RE]Master02 features a 41mm asymmetrical rectangular case in a shade of sand gold and a dial in a blue color dubbed “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50”—the same signature dark blue to black hue that graced the first Royal Oak from the 1970s. The distinctive segmented dial is divided into 12 triangles, finished with linear satin, and features a pair of hour and minute hands. The 2024 Audemars Piguet [RE]Master02 is powered by the Caliber 7129 automatic movement with a 52-hour power reserve, visible from the caseback.
A Busy Year for Audemars Piguet That covers all the new watches coming to Audemars Piguet in 2024—more than two dozen! Be sure to stay tuned, though, as we’ll update this post if any other new AP models are released.
