TNA Mitbesitzerin Dixie Carter war am Wochenende in Lowell, Massachusetts nicht nur beim TNA PPV Lockdown 2008 zu Gast sondern besuchte auch in Boston eine kleine Show von ROH. Es wird gemunkelt das sie dort war um Kontakte zwischen den beiden Promotions zu knüpfen, etwa was die Zusammenarbeit und die Talentförderung angeht.

Sehr guter Schritt! Wenn es zu einer Zusammenarbeit kommen würde wird die WWE langsam in Zugzwang kommen was Talente betrifft trotz Farmliga.

Hier ein kleiner Auszug aus einem Interview mit Samoa Joe in dem er auf eine mögliche Zusammenarbeit zwischen TNA und ROH eingeht.


The Sun: Before TNA you made your name as champion in Ring Of Honor. Did you enjoy working there?

Samoa Joe: I had a really great time in Ring Of Honor, and I’m still really good friends with a lot of people down there. I hope they continue to do well, as it provides one more great place for fans and wrestlers.

The Sun: Could we see Samoa Joe return to ROH for a one-off main event match?

Samoa Joe: Never say never. The main stumbling point right now is that my schedule is so full, it would be impossible to clear any time to go back. But TNA and ROH seem to be coming to an agreement and I know there’s talk of sending our guys down there, so you never know. There’s nothing in the works right now, so I don’t want to whet anyone’s appetite, but it’s a possibility.

Wenn alles klappt wäre es wirklich Fantastisch. Ist Brain Danielson nicht bei ROH? Dann wäre es ja auch mal für ihn möglich sich einem noch größeren Publikum zu zeigen.
