In der aktuellen Ausgabe des amerikanischen Rolling Stone Magazins findet sich ein Artikel über einen Eskortservice in Los Angeles, der reiche Kunden für bis zu 25000 Dollar pro Nacht mit Damen versorgte. Die Betreiberin Nici wurde vom FBI untersucht und musste den Service fortan schließen. Neben Maxim und FHM Models, Pornostars und Playboy Playmates wurde in der Liste der involvierten Damen auch WWE Diva Ashley Massaro aufgelistet, die im Artikel sogar abgebildet wurde.

In einem Eintrag in ihrem MySpace Blog dementierte Ashley diese Anschuldigungen und kündigte an, mit ihrem Anwalt in Kontakt zu treten.

Laut rajah.com soll das alles ein großes Missverständnis gewesen sein. Es stimmt, dass Ashley Massaro in einen Eskortservice verwickelt ist, allerdings nicht die Wrestlerin Ashley Massaro, sondern ein Bikinimodel aus Las Vegas, das zufälligerweise ebenfalls Ashley Massaro heißt.

Was kann man da nur sagen mmh SHIT HAPPENS

Nachdem sie für einige Wochen eine komplette Auszeit von der WWE hatte - auch um Gras über die Escort-Geschichte wachsen zu laßen - hat Ashley Massaro um eine Vertragsauflösung bei WWE gebeten. Sie begründete diese Bitte mit der Existenz einer kleinen Tochter die inzwischen schwer erkrankt sei. Ihrem Wunsch wurde von Seiten der WWE entsprochen. Ashley Massaro ist nun kein Teil des WWE Rosters mehr, ob sie jemals wieder zum Wrestling zurückkehren wird ist ungewiß.
